Using Metrology Bench

Metrology Bench (the “site”), its calculators, embeds, test vectors and the metrology-toolbox-mcp server are provided free of charge by Kevin Mastriano. By using them you agree to these terms.

Calculated values, not certified results

Every result is a calculated value. It is not a calibration certificate, not a certified result, and not within any laboratory’s scope of accreditation. You are responsible for checking that a tool and its inputs suit your purpose. Accredited laboratories must validate any software they use (ISO/IEC 17025 clause 7.11).

No warranty

The site and all tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Kevin Mastriano nor Custom Calibration, Inc. is liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or other damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the site or its tools, including decisions made on calculated results.

Open source and content licenses

Code is licensed under the Apache License 2.0. Written content is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). “Metrology Bench” and its logo are not licensed for use as the name or branding of another product.

Embeds and the hosted MCP server

You may embed the calculators and use the hosted MCP server free of charge. Keep the “Powered by Metrology Bench” link on embeds. Requests are rate-limited; don’t attempt to overload, scrape at volume, or interfere with the service.

Trademarks

Product and standards names belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility or subject matter. No affiliation or endorsement is implied.
